About Me

Laurie Anspach is a member of the Oil Painters of America and award winner of the "America Here and Now" competition. Her career began with her training at the Rhode Island School of Design, one of the leading universities of design in the U.S.A. Ms. Laurie Anspach launched what became a successful career in New York City, designing fabrics for clients such as Macy's, Bloomingdales and Saks Fifth Avenue and then designing for the European market.

Her success enabled Ms. Anspach to focus on her true passion of fine-art painting. She wanted to use her fascination with color, surface and texture to express her love for children, people and cultures. Her paintings are characterized by a passionate emotional content and flawless execution of form, color and lighting.

Ms. Anspach gives to other artists, as a teacher, and has done so for over a decade.  She, currently, is scheduled to teach Summer and Fall classes, at the Dunedin Fine Art Center in Florida.
